MBMG International League Week 24

Pattaya City were crowned champions of the MBMG International Football League for the first time ever on Saturday evening after Londoner were soundly beaten by Cosmos 4-1. A superb hat trick from Patrick Menhorn being the difference between the teams. The result not only means Pattaya cannot be caught it also means that Londoner need to win against Cosmos this coming weekend if they wish to finish runners up.

The only other game played was a vital one for Bangkok Utd as they needed to win to guarantee a place in Division 1 next season and win they did in resounding style thrashing the Division 2 champions Anatolia 4-0.

So congratulations to Pattaya City and Anatolia for well deserved league championships and we can all look forward to the cup in a couple of weeks and see just how big a gap there is between the two divisions.

Cheers

Chris
